Thanks.

do you mean the original ones on the front gaurd at the front of the car????
cause if you do you can get the mounting arms still new but the mirrors are obselete. Also if the front gaurds are rusted away usually the mount in the gaurd is the first thing to go.

If you don't want original and just want anything for a roadworthy then try the wreckers for something that looks like it will fit on a flat surface

Yeah I was hoping to get the original ones. The passenger side guard is a bit rusted and the hole is enlarged.

Where are the arms available new? From a suzuki parts dealer?

I made some posts and used off the shelf aftermarket mirror heads.

The later LJ80 mirror heads were available in the US, but not the posts when I was looking.

The LJ20 pictured are round/oval shaped with a convex mirror, the LJ50 when released in Australia had square/rectangle mirrors with flat glass as convex mirrors were not legal.

Although original, mirrors mounted on the guards are a pain in the arse to adjust and give a limited sighting angle. It would be easier and more useful to fit Sierra mirrors to the cowl or windscreen just in front of the door.

Yes the originals are a PITA to adjust and get bumped every time you walk past them, but I have driven the LJ in the bottom pic and the mirror was hard to use with the doors on as the plastic window was a long way back from the mirror. It now has guard mirrors. If you run without soft doors they would be fine. I think some of the European LJ80s had similar mirrors, but they were on a long arm.

This is the other style that Fity mentioned on Dez82's car

For now I just put a Datsun mirror that i had lying around. It fit mounting holes in the door with only minor modification.

Ok, so you had me confused for some reason I though you had a soft top with soft doors and that was why you wanted fender mirrors, if it is a hard top or has hard doors the 1 litre sierra mirrors bolt on without modification.

2stroker, is that a genuine Suzuki mirror? I had one of those kicking around and dismissed it as being Suzuki.

Yep, the screw holes are even there for it, they came on Stockman models with soft doors. If you look closely you will see that car has the rare stockman style soft door hinges as well.
