Im looking for a complete G16A motor for a build up, got one last week and after having the block checked have discovered its not suitable for what is intended..........

Need a G16A, sump to carb would be prefered, dont need accessories...needs to be a non bored preferably original engine and in South Australia, or willing to be freighted to SA.

good luck mate, i looking for a block for 2 1/2 weeks round adelaide using work contacts i ended up getting one freighted from sydney, even that block which actually came from a baleno but is being built up as a carby one ended up needing to be bored .5 over size

what did it cost you? was there a warranty against cracks in the block?

cost $275 plus freight, was sent bare since i had everything else and was checked over for cracks their end, (yeah that one between 1-2 is a bitch aint it) (was paying for short motor but since all i needed was block thats all they sent so that i wouldnt have to pay so much freight)

gave me 3 month warranty but its all back from the machine shop, had the works done bored decked crack tested, now hopefully i put the motor all back together this week
