Mate I have seen a couple of rear wheel drive A series autos in cars in wreckers in Brisbane, but they are the kind of places that you need to actually go to, they don't care about old stuff so if you phone it is all too hard for them so they will just say they don't have one.

There are a half dozen rear wheel drive corollas with A series engines at Kellys scattered over about 5 acres, I am pretty sure I saw a couple were autos.

There was also an auto one at Narangba wreckers last year, I saw the car from the road driving past and was looking for a T50 at the time. I rang and asked if the AE71 was a manual, they did not have any AE71's. I ended up just going there and pointing to the car, no T50, it was auto.

There is also a specialist Toyota wrecker at Caloundra as well.

I found a couple in brizzy just yeserday arvo but they want an arm and a leg ($330-$400)for an unknown condition auto, personally I think that's a bit rich for such an old box as an unknown quantity, but it's looking like I'll just have to spend the coin and hope I get a good 1
