Looking for a really small/lightweight, box trailer. Very basic. Just for extra space when camping. Anywhere around Brisbane.
Thanks for any help.

Why not it would look great to have a trailer to match your car

And after all this you forgot to ask the most basic question.......

What condition? Not having a go at 2 stroker or his trailer ( never seen it) but too many people keep trailers going that are poorly made, poorly maintained and long since past their used by date.

Can I ask what you budget is?

Condition, im looking for average condition. It will only be for camping so if it's rough it doesn't bother me.
Umm budget would be a few hundred. Idk shit about trailers and cost so. Yeah. I have like 800 left but don't want it all spent in a trailer

Trailers can be quite dangerous to you AND other motorists. It would be advisable to buy one that is actually in RWC condition. Fresh bearings, straight axle, good springs and sound frame/chassis. Most trailers that tick all these boxes DON'T fall into the "rough" category. Hopefully 2stroker can sort you out with a good one.

Fatzook is exactly right, you can get some very cheap used trailers but I would not be thinking of towing some of the crap trailers you see around the place around the block let alone over any distance when loaded.

It's not mine, it is brown at the moment but I am going to be painting and modifying it to give it a market edge before he sells it. It's in pretty good nick, not rusty, it is 5' x 4', tail gate at each end.

Things I am doing for him:

Fitting new lights,
New bearings with suzuki patern hubs
Fitting WT rims ( plus a spare makes three )
Doing a Leaf over axle
Fitting jerry can holders
Fitting a tool box
Painting it (I was going olive because I have some paint left over but I am just as happy to go blue, green or grey hammer finish)
I think it might even come with a tonneau cover

He wants to throw it on EBAY, hopes to get $500 - $600 when finished

I will post some pics when it is done

Ok, sorry bum steer, I just spoke to him and he has decided that he will be keeping it onc it is done.

I will still post some pics when it is finished.

If you find a cheap one that needs to be restored I am happy to do the weekenders.

Okay sweet as. I would have paid that much for it. Sounds sweet.
If anyone finds one cheap that can be restored please let me know
And when I meant rough I just meant the look like I dot mind if it's not paired or has jerrycan holders and all that. I just meant basic. Just didn't say it right.

if you're going to repair/ rebuild one,

it may be an idea to use a set of sierra springs that match your zook, make sure you use sierra stud pattern too. that way if anything breaks you can always change over tha parts and come back for the trailer.

a wise rule to live by is

" you dont have to remember anyting if you dont lie"

lieing to family is not a healthy thing.

explain to your dad your need for a trailer and how leaving it at your mates place will not affect him in any way. he cant get upset if it does not affect him.

apart from the clearance the diff would be a good idea. go lump!!!
