Welcome to AZ fellow Perthite !

I didnt think the newer GV came with a 3.2L, only a 2.7L... :?

Out Door Auto does underbody protection kits...

There are suspension kits on ebay for the GV, if you dont want to spend alot... there is a 40mm Ironman Kit on ebay now, for under $900, and i know Dobinson do a suspension kit, which is under $1000... there arnt alot of suspension options for the newer GV... just yet... you could go the cheap, and in my opinion, bodgy suspension lift, using spring spacers...

I have the Ironman option  and i have given the suspension a fair amount of shit, i even got my GV in the air on the last trip... and the suspension is still going strong... most seem to bag Ironman gear... but those that have it fitted, and actually tried it, are happy with it !

I agree, there is very few suspension options for the new GV's... but Ironman is still a viable, and good option for the new GV's...

Ok... found one thread... its pretty mixed reviews, its mainly shocky issues, which Ironman are sorting out... ... at least Ironman have a 2 year/40,000km Replacement Warranty... i guess Ironman is one is those suspensions you either love or hate... i Love it... others hate it... also saw B4T there, he he...
Dobinson, and i think King Springs, is the only other real option... :D

Yeh im in there and a few other forums too.

In the ironman 40mm suspension lift kit the front strut is far to hard and has valving noise issues they are working on fixing. Ive already had a front strut replaced due to excessive noise. If i was to do it again i wouldnt use the ironman kit. Not unless i was fitting a heavy front bar and winch. Their suspension is setup for much heavier vehicles than a suzuki

Ha ha, yep, i also saw Marked there as well, and another who i cant remember...
Yes the Ironman gear is firm, but not uncomfortable, and i like firm, its much better than the spongy stock suspension...
When you get the Ironman stuff as a kit, it is cheaper, but the kit may not be what you want/need... i got a kit for my 01 GV, but i was able to pick the spring and shock rating i wanted, i went for the Performance rated Nitro shocks and springs, as they were stiffer/firmer, and reduced body roll alot... but they have, Comfort, Performance, and Constant load rated setups... the comfort ones are 20% stiffer than stock, performance ones are 25% stiffer than stock, and the Constant Load are 30 to 40% stiffer than stock... i think the comfort setup would have suited you better...

But yeah, it really pays to discuss what kind of setup you want and why, with them first... and not just accept what comes in a kit from their resellers... bad reviews/experiences come from a badly setup suspension...

They only had the 35mm lifted, +50kg load rated springs when i got mine last year... but i see they now have a proper 50mm/2in spring, which is 200kg load rating now... and at $165 a pair of springs, i am considering getting them... but will have a chat to the guys at the new Ironman store in Perth first, and ask exactly how they handle on and offroad... anyway... i think i should shut up about Ironman suspension now... before it gets me into trouble... again...
