Anyone got a 20 ft container they aren't using or know of something available for sale?
Needs to be SE Qld and weatherproof. Don't mind if it needs paint or has dents.
PM please.

I love shipping containers, they are the perfect multi-purpose instant building... and almost Indestructible... if i had a block of land, i would join 3 or 4 together and make a house... but also make a great shed/workshop !

There are places that sell old containers... last time i enquired, some years ago, they were about $1000 each... but... i am guessing you want one for alot cheaper... like free...

I'd be more than happy to get one (or two) for a $1000 (each) but everywhere I've enquired wants $3000 (each) delivered... :x

I bought a truck van body, (ex thrifty) 16 foot long for $500. Had it delivered on a tilt tray.
Sea boxes are a minimum 2 grand here in any reasonable shape.

I've got about 6 quotes in the last week (moving house, need to store furniture) all around $2400 - $2600 (+GST) for a B-grade delivered, water tight, with whirly birds and 2 vents installed. Can forward you the quotes if you like
