G'day all, im trying to source some reasonable tyres to run on my suzuki. I havent got transfer gears yet or massive lift or anything so im thinking about 30x10.5x15 (is that how they write the profile) something with some pretty serious pattern would look the best...


Let us know what you have..... it dont have to be full tread or anything (anythings better then what i have now) also if anyone wants to suggest a different size please go ahead and let me know

235/75r15 is the biggest you are going to want to go without gearing, let alone lift etc... personally i think after 215/75r15 you need to do something about the gearing, but im pretty alone in that thought on here. lol

i reckon if ya have standard tyres you still need to fix the gearing on a sierra.

So that would equate to about a 29" tyre is that correct?

Haha, it never ends lol, i dont really wanna do reduction gears as yet... i have to put a line down of where to stop after a full cab off chassis rebuild, so we recomend 29's?

Yeah, I've got 235x75R15's (29's) on my Sierra. You'll need to cut off, or trim, the ends of the bumper outriggers, bash the seams in the rear of the front wheel arches, and maybe add bump stop extensions.

4.16:1 transfer case gears will bring gearing back to stock. Gearing will suck without them, 5th gear will be useless...

5th Gear Is Useless, I have a 4speed
