G'Day,

Well, I've seen some great home made rear bars on this site - both "bar type" and tubular bar types.

Would anybody like to make one for a fellow member ? We can work out a suitable $$$ that would change hands.

I have these new 30x9 wheels/tyres and I really don't want to chop my rear plastic stock bumber. If I end up wanting to sell the Jimny, it'd be nice to have a presentable rear bar.

Also, if I end up requiring a new clutch in the near future does anybody have the part number of a good aftermarket one ?

Thanks

Guy

Gday Mate, I made up my rear bar for my jimny out of steel tube and a bit of steel plate, took 3 solid days of working on it untill it was finished.

Steel Cost 100 buks, just used a Arc welder to put it together, its realy not that hard to do, just takes time to get it neat.

But i also trimmed the rear bumper to suit, just the thing is the little corner pieces that the bumber covers is what keeps it looking neat, you can by them seperately from japan some were but there hard to get, thats the reason i trimmed my bumper as well.

I know you dont want to do this but just giving you a reason as to why i did. Cheers, Mubby
