I would like to buy a 4x4 for a trip this October. Anything considered, prefer petrol or maybe turbo diesel, also prefer manual. I can only spend $2000 so I expect it to need some work. Must be currently licensed. Let me know if you know of anything around! Must be in WA!

You're not going to get much for $2,000. Where is the trip taking you? Might pay to keep an eye out on Carsales and eBay.

Found a 91 Holden Jackeroo on Carsales with roadworthy for $2,200.
