Hey guys just wondering if anyone has a head second hand or reco for g16a..? Needs to be in good nick.. I will be replacing with new valves etc.. But block needs to be straight. Cheers! |

Cheers! Just use a G13 head as they are the same casting and heaps easier to find, and subsequently heaps cheaper! If you're using g16 valves in it you'll have to get exhaust the valve seats recut as they're 1mm bigger in dia in the g16 head. |

If you think they are the same casting then you have not seen them side by side, there is a considerable difference in port size. The combustion chamber has the same cc but the 1300 head does not flow anywhere near a 1600 due to its smaller ports. |
