You can't put doors on an LJ50 soft top! :P

Do you need just the glass or the whole surround as well as the glass?

You wont find good seats for one, you'l need to re trim an old set. I don't have any parts, it just helps to clarify this stuff.

Btw, put up some pics of it! :D

Surrounds are expensive I have bought 2 spares recently they cost me $250 for an LJ80 one and $350 for an LJ50 one without glass and I paid $80 for a windscreen.

I still have another wreck to bring home, I will check if the screen surround is serviceable on the weekend

Yeah, i was eyeing that one off, across the road from my work. Should have put some dollars down on it on wend/thursday when i looked at it

I have to go and look at a guys LJ50 collection (5 of) in the next few weeks. Cars are not for sale, but he thinks he mite have some extra parts laying around. Will let you know if there is a suround there. I have a surround (no glass), but its pertty ordinary, so i'm seeking a better one for mine as well.

I'll take the door bar/s off your hands if ya get canvas doors for it

Hi All,

New to this forum and I have a shed full of spares, just reading through this thred has stimulated my memory. Will have to check exactly what LJ50 spares I have, definitely soft doors, bows and possibly seats.

I have just listed an LJ80 SOFTTOP WINDSCREEN FRAME complete with laminated screen on ebay in car and truck parts.

Have limited access to net, but always have mobile 0428 789854.

Cheers

Greg

Hi all,

Thanks Tony, Just from memory, there is a LJ50 bonnet in pretty good condition except that it has a hump where a corolla carby was. Baby shit green, will check over the weekend for seats for you. Send me your email address and I will send you some photos.

Cheers

Greg
