CE Lancer is another good car. I've had a VRX from new in 99 and it's been a great car. 1.8lt motor. Get around 6.5lt per hundred.

I've got an AE86 twin cam corolla you can have for cheap cheap.

It's not exactly a girls car, but change the cannon exhaust to a love heart tip that blows bubbles out of and it should be half way there.

When I first got it it needed alot of work, I've done alot of general servicing and tyding up, It needs a little more TLC and it would be a good first car. It still has about 4-5months rego.

If you want to check it out, I can swing past if you like.
