Post subject:  best place to buy awning in Tasmania
Launceston or Hobart. for my 2006 GV with Rola Rack.
Want 2m wide, preferably as self supporting as possible.
If I can convince the wife to buy me for Christmas.
any Tassie people suggest places to buy? apart from obvious ARB, which I will check out.

I can't add much more than the usual ARB, TJM, Opposite Lock etc.. in Hobart and Lonnie.

Depends on price, I have seen some in the k&d, n repco catalogs I'm sure.
I just ordered one for Christmas from North west truck center in Burnie who deal with ironman gear

I've had an ARB awning and they were fantastic.... so don't rule them out.

Obviously it's good too shop around, but I bought mine direct from arb for about $320 I think. And used it so much, was the best mod on my truck I reckon.

BCF catalogue in the mail yesterday has the 2.5m x2.1m 0n special for $289.

I dont know if they do a 2m long one though?

I can recommend the tjm Red Centa ones, ive had a 2m one for a while now and had no issues with it.
