G'day guys.

I'm fixing up a 1988 GQ for a friend to use as a paddock car/learn to drive in (he's 15). And one of the things it's missing is a carby.

It doesn't need to be perfect, as long as it will idle and rev okay then we're happy.

Doesn't matter if you're interstate, it'l probably have to be posted here anyway.

The budget is quite large.

I already have, their wanted section seems to get no views at all and despite the several hundred views on the build thread, no bite.

my bro has the same vehicle, he fitted a webber off an xe or xf falcon, does the trick and shouldnt be too hard to come by

There's actually an XF in the paddock next to their house (a farmer owns the car) . I did contemplate nicking the carby off it but they said they might get the Patrol regoed again (apart from the front floors being completly rusted out, it's in quite good condition ) so an original one is the way to go.

I've got a Holley 350 that I was going to adapt to it but upon pulling it apart I found it was quite stuffed(plus the rego issue). I hate Holleys anyway, they're as sophisticated as a bucket with holes in it.....
