Hey guys, after one as described, either basic or modded but really needs to be tintop with g16b/g16a. I can customize suspension and get injection unit installed but be better if all was done. please include price you are chasing

Good luck... a good stock one are usually snapped up pretty quickly... have you been keepin an eye out on gumtree ?
There is a 97 on there now for $5700... and there is a modded one up for swaps/trade for a 250+ dirt bike... and another 89 modded one for $4000...

Not too fussy if stock or modded and havent seen any tintops on gumtree.previous experience tells me tintops are getting pretty rare though im just hoping for one with the motor upgrade and body in reasonable nick. Been too long since my last beast

buy one on the east coast and freight it over... you'll save a few grand easily.

I always hear people say this, but I've never had any dramas on angles with my stock carby...

true - i never had issues with the stock carby on angles - but the stock carby was too small for the 1.6, and the weber that replaced it did have issues (but was great on the road).

the stock carb is inadequate on decent angles, thats why the few comp guys that run them spend most of the time with there fingers on the key

Mine runs a little more rough on big angles but otherwise isn't an issue either.
