Hey guys im pretty sure my gearbox is on the way out so im looking at getting a new one. Im just trying to weigh up the options now and see what would be my best choice.
Looking online suzistore has reco gearboxs for around the $950 mark, dunno about shipping to Sydney though? Another idea is suzifour at St Marys does swaps for $650 which is kinda the option im leaning towards. But honestly i dont know whats a good/bad price for this kinda thing?
Or would it be a better option to just take it to a gearbox shop and get them to reco my current one? No idea how much this should cost though and if its worth the down time?
Id like to buy the bits to do it myself but i dont have the time/equipment. And id rather a professional to do it just for peace of mind.
What do you guys think is the best option? Or if someone has a recently recoed box they dont need anymore please let me know.
