Post subject:  second driver for trip to coffin bay

if anyone in the topend wants to go to the meet up in june i have a seat spare. if i drive the GV it will be about $300 for fuel and
if i take the sierra or the landcruser it will be about $500. i plan on 2 days to get there, 3 days in SA and 2 days to get home.

dont be a slack arse and come for a drive

Maybe coz im used to dirty great big diesels rumbling away but I do not really mind the sierras noise.

I bought the Maruti from Goolwa to coffins, only stopped for fuel, no back, freezing cold, noisy as, loved every minute of it, bout 10 hour run.

My tyres are what makes my car noisy. If the Sierra is finished I will just put a set of 33 inch AT tyres on it. Won't be finished but so will drive the ute cos of the animals in central oz.

i've done 3500km (darwin to central queensland with a bit of detour to avoid flood waters). strangely enough, i actually like how rough sierra's are... perhaps not on heavy corrugations, but generally speaking. i'd take the sierra without hesitation

i am going to take the toyota as i have found a cheap supply of chip fat fuel and i can carry 760 liters of fuel easily enough
