get yourself some marine carpet buddy. i done it to mine. only cost me $90.
cut out the foot parts separate then near the handbrake then the rear.
easy to take out hit it with the hose then only take 20 minutes to half hour to dry then put it back in

I have a molded black carpet for a sierra, I can take some pics for you if you're interested. It has the front molded section and the back flat section.

I don't know what postage to Perth would be worth though but I'd be happy to post it.

People run moulded carpet in their Sierras??

I thinkthat the original plastic is perfect, whenever I get a sierra without floor coverings I usually cut pieces of heavy duty marine carpet to perfectly cover the footwells and the cargo area, makes it easy to simply remove and hose off.

The plastic is good if you can keep the mud out. I had missing floor bungs so mud would try and hide everywhere. So i ripped the lot out. But marine carpet for the footwells and cargo area is a good idea!

I am guessing that che_guitarra is after is the sound deadening qualities and the more car like appearane of having carpet.

Do like me and use astro turf best of both worlds little bit more in cost for softer grass but better on the feet :)

I took the carpet out not too long after I got my sierra and found that some bastard had repaired the floor in quite large sections using silicon and paint, you couldn't tell from underneath, but once the carpet and seats were out I could see what was going on!

That's why I have carpet, the reason I'm happy to get rid of it is because I have no use for it, it's not going back in the truck ever because then it would just get ruined, it's also much easier to just sweep and hose stuff out of the truck!

I also have good carpet that is not going back in. Mine is black if that's what you want.

Used to be a mob with the incredibly original name of "moulded car carpets" in Bayswater that made just about anything in the line of car carpets- stitched or moulded, and dashmats.
Its been a while since I bought anything from them- but quality was always first class.

They have moved since I saw them last- I think to Balcatta, might be worth looking them up giving them a call for a quote.
I have no idea what price will be- but its probably worth it.
At least you can pick from big range of colours, carpet type etc to suit what you want as they make everything on-site.

I don't really care if I have carpet or moulded plastic... as long as it's a neat factory style fit. No DIY carpet jobs.

Will try that mob in Balcatta Stephen, will see how I go
