Hey guys,
Anyone wrecking a vit or has spare vit hubs laying around that I can buy. Preferably in Brisbane!
Must have cone washers.
Cheers,
Gideon

I have a brand new pair of Aisin FWH here. I just don't know if they are sierra or vit. If someone knows the difference, I may be able to help you out....

AFIK vit's are more rounded than sierra & are black where the sierra ones are bare metal & the vitara ones have button head allen key bolts holding the dial section down instead of regular bolts.

Sounds like the only difference between the two are cosmetic.

ahh cool, they are vitara ones.
i seriously though they all had the button head allen bolt. must be a change over at some stage as all the ones i've pilfered from wrecks had allen bolts on the dail part.

With sierra ones the back of the hub is held on by a circlip, vitara ones the circlip goes on behind the hub That doesn't really explane much but if ya pulled the two apart you will see they are different

I've got vitara hubs on the rear of my sierra and when I had them apart they looked identical to sierra ones mechanically. Also if the OP is swapping from solid hubs to part time I'd be interested in the solids

I've got a pair of Vit FWH available as soon as I can swap my freshly rebuilt ones on (give me a week.) Will be short a couple of bolts/washers, but otherwise in perfect working order.
PM me if anyone wants them.
