I want a 1 inch lift for guard clearance. Also I'm using a g16b in my jimny, what I didn't see at the time is that the jimny sump drops down further back than the g16b sump so the diff kisses the sump on big front on drops a inch lift will help that. I will eventually change sumps but I will also have to change oil pick ups as well and that's a bit of fucking around that I don't want to do. It's already got a 2 inch suspension lift, I don't want to go too high as I still want it to fit in my garage haha and 1inch will be plenty for what I want.

A 1inch body lift won't help your sump and diff as a body lift lifts the body up not the chassis. Your maybe better off getting spring spacers or bump stop extensions.

I was looking at some bump stop extensions, considering it. The diff is only just kissing the sump so it's a good option
