In emergency you can run a string out the bonnet and through window, and use as a hand throttle.
Or use a push bike hand brake cable as hand throttle, until shops are open again.
Have done both these fixes on past cars and is better than nothing, till you can get right part..

Good luck with huntings, wreckers and the like may be open.

Off to center road today. Just annoyed because i had a cable in the garage and it grew legs and pissed off
