Hi all, I have a 1998 Grand Vitara 4 cyl 2L and am looking for a 5 speed manual gearbox as mine has 3rd gear synchro issues. Can anyone help with this please? I am Brisbane northside. Thanks, Phil. |

Hey Fatzook is there a difference from a 1.6 gearbox to a 2.0 gearbox? |

Yeah, that's what i'm finding and what i often get told. They are very hard to find. The car is still easily drivable and may keep going the way it is for years but then again...... If i leave it go too long it may get even harder to find a gearbox. |

Hey Phil there was a guy on here that rolled his 2.0 vitara and then started to part it out I've been trying to remember his user name but its not coming back to me  If you have no luck with them wreckers keep looking back through the for sale section, it was only a couple of months ago he was parting it out |
