Yes mine looks exactly like that, the steel on my is exactly the same it's bolted on the rear wheel arhces and in the tub with a plate and 4 big nuts on each connection.. it has a sticker on the tube saying scorpion off road. I

Mine had one of them. They are there for show and to look pretty. If you want a roll bar to protect yourself I would be investing in something a by stronger and something that is bolted to a better place that the wheel arch
