Hey guys chasing 16" rims to suit a 7.5 tyre. I am unsure if vitara rims would suit this tyre if someone knew that would be great. Obcould swap for a set of sierra rims with roadworthy tyres if interested.

Cheers.

Ok cheers. You wouldnt know what the biggest and smallest width rim I could run with this tyre? Also would an Lj rim be a shot offset as well? Abviously most in ny size range will be nothing crazy but would like the most i can get without having to get f100 rims flipped.

LJ rims are 0 offset, but they still hit the front springs at full lock even with 1 inch spacers (but not as bad without spacers).

7.50 16 fit OK on 6.5(?) Vit rims, but you would have to run 2 inch spacers because of the +25 offset.

I've seen 7.50s on 7 inch rims but they looked at bit funny, too much sidewall sticking out, plus the tyre shop didn't want to fit them to 7inch rims but was OK with 6.5s, go figure.

Thanks again for your help Steve. Trying to get my head around the hitting with spacers part though!

the vitara 16's are inset 25mm being a +25 rim, the 2" spacer would push them out so they would out to be a -25.

i'm guessing the LJ rims were just hitting with the 1" spacers & without them it was hitting like a mofo

LJ rims are 4.5" wide. It's hard to find good ones though.

2WD F100 rims are 16x5.5 but they weigh shit loads.
