Have you thought about putting in a sierra case? I don't know how that would affect gear ratios but coupled with a sierra transfer case, it would give you some good gearing options.

A 99 is a sierra 1.3 box box mate.

So buying sierra should be easier.

Theres some on ebay, but they come with a price of about 500, one in tassie and one in melb from memory
