There are two different gearboxes that will match up, do you know which one you want?

He's got a sierra, so at a I guess he will want 00-05 non-vvt box

True. A vvt box would give a big reduction for bigger rubber though.

Im not sure on what gear box I am only new to all this. What reduction gear ratio and where are they going ?

VVT jimny gearboxes have substantially lower ratios compared to non vvt m series boxes. About 20% lower.

So they would be good 31" and 33" tread? Do you no where I might be able to find one?

Mate this is one of the cheapest conversions around if you consider what you get with it.
