Looking for front and rear diff centres to suit 2009 or later jimny (I think that's the year that they changed the front diff to a high pinion or something?)

Condition is unimportant as I will be putting new bearings and gears in them.

Anyone have anything reasonably priced?

just fyi, all jimnys had a high pinion front.

you might find the only difference is the gear ratios.

Ah that's good info tanshi, thanks. You don't happen to know if auto and manual front centres are the same? I thought I read somewhere that the autos had a weaker front diff than the manuals?

lil_jim I've no idea, I can't find any for sale to base my price on, which either means they're rare as rocking horse poo and therefore worth drug money or nobody ever wants them so they aren't worth scrap prices :s

Some Spanish guy in that gearing reductions thread reckons push button transfer front diffs have 10 bolts and the earlier ones are only 8?

Dougie I'll pm you in a day or two.

And some Aussie guy is this thread says he's right.

Post 2003 Jimny fronts have 10 bolt. '98 to '03 have a 8 bolt front.
As they brought out the 10 bolt in 2003, for that year there may be some with 8 and some 10.

Sounds like dougies_tx5turbo has what you need and will sort you out anyway.
