I have a towbar you can have for a carton of beer. It's one of the 'tongue' type bars, 1000kg max (80kg ball weight). I've just replaced it with a Hayman Reese style in order to tow my relatively heavy boat (which is 1000kg dry let alone with fuel and water, and didn't want insurance issues) so there is nothing wrong with the bar apart from those legal weight limitations. |
