WANTED: Vitara 5.12 crownwheel and pinion to go into Sierra.
I think it's the CW & P out of the front of an auto Vit that I need.

And it's the Manual Vit with the 5.125s. Autos have 4.625.

only the 3 speed auto 1.6 has 4.6, the 4 speed version has 5.1.

ive got 5.12's on my sierra with 31" tyres. 110km/h is around 4000rpm, kinda high but gets up to 110k real fast!

Mine doesn't see road use anymore so if it can do 80km/h with 5.12's and 35's I'll be happy.
Have one CW&P set just need another and a bag of $$$ for 35's

How much are you willing to pay Jas? i know graham at suzi sport springwood has a few sets . i paid 175 for my spare set but have since seen them on here for as little as 50.
35"s, are you going to start braking some serious shit.5.12s aren't famous for being strong. hilux diffs????

Don't want to pay anything really.  Got a complete centre sitting here(5.12:1 alloy) that was free. 
Hilux/Bundy diffs might eventually be an option but I'd like to go as far as possible on Suzuki parts first.

I was just thinking about the front end i think its gunna be a real bugger to get out as i cant get to the drivers front wheel to pull the axel out...
This might be a dumb question but will the rear one go in the front??????

Use a gas axe to get it apart.

Hi guys,
I would want a pair(front and rear) crown and pinion to put on a Gypsy(Samurai). The stock axle ratios are -
Gearing:
-----------
1st 3.652
2nd 1.947
3rd 1.423
4th 1.000
5th 0.795
Reverse 3.466
TC-High: 1.409
TC-Low: 2.268
Axle: 3.73:1
Would the stock axles work with the Vitara crown and pinion. ?

You know from reading the above that the Vitara Rear ring and pinion is too big to fit in a Sierra axle? It's only the front that will fit a Sierra.
Anyway, which Vitara do you want the the part number for? SWB/LWB, Man/Auto, SE416/SV416/SQ416. Just about all have different part numbers and ratios available.

Anyway, which Vitara do you want the the part number for? SWB/LWB, Man/Auto, SE416/SV416/SQ416. Just about all have different part numbers and ratios available. So you suggest i get two front ones, one for the front diff of my Sierra and one for the other or only change the front one? I see you were looking for the same thing sometime back, were you able to source it?

They are readily available (used) here in Australia. I have two sets.
Buying new may be a bit more difficult.
