Help Please!!!

I have just replaced my head gasket on G13a. Head didnt need machining, as I put straight edge and it was true. No apparent cracks.
Changed Timing belt, bolted back up and torqued to 70Nm no probs.

Fired her up. She ran and idled for approx 3 mins. Then just stopped. Snapped a timing belt and I couldnt move the cam. Unbolted head, took off and looked for washer, nut or anything stupid I may of left. NOTHING.
Spun cam anti clockwise on the bench, all free so bolted back on and put old timing belt back on.

Again, fired up, ran for a min or 2, and then again, cam has locked up, cant be spun and snapped another timing belt.

Has anyone seen this? I am guessing a bent valve??? Or bent cam?
But why would it run for a min or 2 then lock up??? Frustrated taking head off 3 times in a weekend

did you put the head gasket on the right way? and i mean as in lining up the very small oil feel hole for the head, if not the journals are not getting enough oil hence they lock, then when removed and cooled they free up. i'd say you just toasted you're head. if you pull the cam out you will find it and the head are now both damaged.

Embassing to say it but I did something that ended the same way as yours to my first suzuki sierra - I didn't remove the card board bung from the oil filter when I changed the oil and then ignored the oil pressure light. I had to replacce the engine.

You have an oil issue some where.

Ouch yep I have had a work mate put a head gasket on upside down and do close to the same thing. only it was a chain drive and it snapped the both cams. You may be lucky and find no damage but I wouldn't put your hopes on it.
