My pinion seals have started leaking. So im going to have to change them im just wondering where people have got the seals from and if the front and rear seals are the same.
and do they come in a kit?

There is a crush tube that put load on the pinion bearing, very good idea to replace it, I think suzistore sell em, Low range do.
I have used washer's to shim them up, but that was bodge of me
worked but.

Don't think so. I think, if memory serves, you can replace both in car.
Just remove shaft, undo flange nut & remove flange, pull seal out & tube "should" come out, then you just fit the new stuff.
I think it can be done in car, but don't hold me to it, If it can than the back lash won't have to be set again as your not moving the crown wheel.

Getting the crush tube tightened correctly is a total pain in the ass.

Had to fab up a bracket and pole to bolt to the pinion flange, then get a piece of pipe on the socket.

Even being very careful, I still ended up slightly over tightening

Hand brake? If it's still in the car the car has it's own mean's of stopping the pinion & diff from turning.

leave the wheels on the ground and lock in the front hubs and if you have a 2nd person get them to stand on the brakes. This works for undoing t/case nuts.

i have the same problem, with my rear cept its full of swamp water and oil :S,
doinga a drain today and gotta replace the rear pinoin seal,
advice??

If it's full of water I'd be getting that out, fill with iol & see if it leak's..

With water in your diff you may have caused damage best to pull the center out and Check bearing etc before getting parts

Watered down oil will leak out where oil won't, it's worth a go.
