I'm soon to be replacing the clutch and need to know if my gearbox has an 18 or 20 spline on the input shaft. It's to suit a '90 W/T Sierra with original g/box.
Cheers,
Jimmy

FFS , the amount of people that get asked that by spare parts monkeys with incorrect catalogues is amazing , get the monkeys to crossreference the part number SZ330 , this is the kit you are after .

Clutch Industries and Exedy both list two different clutches for my '90 W/T Sierra (18 & 20 spline) in their catalogues. Same thing goes for the water pump as well. It would appear that 1990 was a transitional period for the Sierra?
Cheers losfer. I'll pass the info on. If someone knows which one i've got i'm still all ears.

nah each clutch suits a particular spline that matches the input shaft on the gearbox.
I have a G13BA.
There are these two options:
18Spline/19.3OD
20Spline/22.4OD
It's not urgent as I have a part number from losfer to cross reference but i'm curious nonetheless.

Both my gboxes have the inspection bungs. One is a 89 one is a 91. 89 is 18 spline 91 is 20 spline. Don't bother guessing. Get it out. Its a gamble otherwise. I've still got an unused 18 spline sitting at home from when ripco told me thats what my 91 needed.
