hrm... I don't think its the mix as it works fine and is only in a few spots on 2 bits I did, the other ones are fine and I give it 10min between coats.

id say you might be spraying it a bit too far away in those couple of area's or maybe you are moving a bit too quick when you are coating them. You can try to cut them out and buff, it should work but just be careful or the result will be less than desireable.

Ok, sometimes i can be too quick. probably is that. I'll give them another coat before going to the cut n buff.

Any recommendations for cut n buff process and compounds to use?

Have done the body colour and gloss now.

just have the bonnet, doors and targa bar left to do.

looks good enough, but just walk into a auto paint shop and ask they will sort you out. Generally a quality compound will cost a little more $$$
