I've exploded my transfercase and i need another
with series 1 4.16 crawler gears fitted

Rockhoppers SUCK ASS...
There's a case with 6.5 gears in Tassie for sale in HERE $800 I think... Seems a bit rich to me but it's there.

Dunno what your budget is but you can pick up new billet 4.16s these days for $650...

6.5s are actually really reasonable.... 4.9s cost more than 6.5s (~$900) whereas at the same store you can get 6.5s for $700...

Not sure why.....

which 1L gears do i need fatzook? is it possible to use the older 1L gears or does it have to come from a 1L with light case?

different manufacturers. Personally I think 6.5's are too low for even 33's but for the price it may be something you live with. Even my S3 case, which has seen a heap of abuse and still holding up, is too low for 1st most of the time and I use 2nd or 3rd. S2's I think are the perfect ratio, 4.9, for a 1.3 with 31's

Not sure if he still has them but he had 3 sets of cut/shut gears a while back..
Unless he's sold them he'll still have them as he hasn't broken the ones in his car yet.
