I have not heard much on the reliability side. But i have not been near suzuki mechanics as such, However, I have heard on what happens with the G' motors. crack heads etc. So in all. suzuki motors arnt that great anyway!

The technology, just looking at the m13a, is miles above the old g motors. Hense why all the new suzuki's run them now. Swift/liana/x4 etc etc.

I just love the sound of an almost factory Jimny/Sierra coil Lwb. So thats why im always leaning on that side in my posts..

Just checked some measurements.. Jimny chassis will not need to be cut to be stretched..= Less engineering drama's!

There is estimate 100mm difference in the jimny wheelbase to lwb sierra wheelbase. It can be made up by moving the rear diff spring mounts back 100mm.

Front diff is fine with sierra measurements. Measure from back of motor to centre of diff to see where the wheels/ firewall should sit. The sierra's also have more room then the jimny's in the engine bay. Length wise.

Got some engineering advice.

2000 jimny chassis will make the lwb an 2000 model. So.. Everything safety from a 2000 model has to be involved into the 1988 body. And then tested.

So it is engineerable. But there is alot more involved in just a simple chassis swap just because of the year adr's etc.



The next option is use the complete suspension setup onto wt diffs.

Then i like the sound of a vit 1.6 with an auto with the rest of the money i get from the jim..

or

Cut all jim suspension, piss it off, and keep them for swb or something else. And Lwb restored to stock.
