i have a uniden uhf and need an ariel can anyone help?

You can get good gme ones from autobahn and BCF..

I have use ones from super crap as well they come with a 3db and 6db aerial.. They work a treat with the unidens. Also come preside wired, so no soldering required.

About 100 to 150 will get you a good one

You could try Ebay, they have quite a few, good brands as well, and most are well under $100 ! :wink:

X2 on Gme brand, well worth it.

i bought a little stel one from queensland diesel for $17 and it works a treat.

head off to woolies carpark with a shifter..... just joking mate.. the gme ones seem to be the go, i have stock uniden and it has always worked fine on my hilux and it was free with the unit. on my zook i have a generic type like the gme, fibreglass about a metere long i guess, it works ok too.
if i was to buy one though it would be GME with a flexi base
