Various Vitaras will give shorter gearing...
4.6:1
4.8:1
5.12:1
Much easier to fit transfer gears before you start messing with diff ratios though.

Just a quick dumb question, do diff gears do anything to correct speedo error due to bigger tyres or do they simply make it worse still.

Diff gears can correct a speedo... IF.... you pick the right ratio.

diff gears do alot of other good things, but if you have a standard t case with 33's and fit 5.1 diffs your speedo will be well inside the 10% ADR compliance rule.

I have no idea of what ratio I have in my suziblu, no idea of speed i was doing with the 31" tyres I put on her, So I checked with a GPS, I cannot tell the diff tween the speedo reading and the GPS, if there is a discrepancy, its that I may be a k over speed at 80k
No tacko so no idea of revs.

X-90 auto and imort SWB vit has 4.6:1.
This will allow you to run 32's, and 1 litre transfer with near stock speedo readings.
