Want33's, do you have a dead 1.3L 5 speed gearbox that you could pull off the return spring from the clutch fork. The spring in the top right of this pic.

Jas,

Bent my Steering rod yesterday (draglink one) so steering wheel is way out.

Is there a chance you might have a good one up there? and how many dollars. or maybe a suggestion on straightening and strengthening it.

Zuki,
I don't have any WT steering bits at the moment but if you have a press and a welder you can straighten and reinforce your draglink like I did.

Straighten in the press and then get a piece of 19mmID pipe/tube with a 2.5-3.0mm wall thickness and slice it in half lengthwise.
Clamp it around the draglink and weld it back together. I did mine a few years ago and haven't bent it yet even with 33's and powersteer.

My diff is 22mm forward and the steering links don't touch or rub on each other. :D

hey mate
roll bar finally arrived, im extremely happy with it, although i cant say the same about the courier, the roll bar was left sitting in the middle of my driveway for probably most of the day where anyone could walk up and take it and i did not sign for it, apart from that im very happy :D

do you know the bolts that hold the bars above the doors on a soft top sierra. well im in need of a full set of them with and a few spare if possible and also 2 bolts for the windscreen hindges? what prices would i be looking at ?

Go to your local bolt (fastener) shop and buy some stainless socket head capscrews for the roof bars.
