what's the pro's and con's?
I want a bit more lift. Are shackles a good option?

if you have longer springs they can be a good thing.
extended shackles stopped this happening to my car.

I don't have longer springs, just raised springs.

Unless you have longer springs they suck. They will make the ride harsher.
Why do you want more lift?

Not to mention you will probably chew trhough spring bushes which makes the steering even more scary.

More movement with the right springs. But takes time to setup.
Less front ramp angle clearance
