I managed to get my hands on a 1.6 3k i think they come out of a corona i know some one with a 3k in a lj80 does any body know if it will go into a wt? they look roughtl the same as the g13a.

had a mate with a 5k (basically the same thing) in a narrow track

if its 1.6 its 5k... 3k is a 1.1ltr

not worth the efort mate! old boat motor.

could be a 5k because its a 1.6 does any body know if you can get adaptor plates Etc

5K is a 1.5 & you can't get adapters any more, you will need the g/box to..

The adapter's only do the eng mount's..

5k is a 1.5L, 3k is a 1.2L. I have too many mates with stupid corollas :roll:

3k = 1166cc A beast of enormous mice power!

(got one in my 77' rolla) :lol: Goes ok in a car, I'd hate to see it in a lego brick.

Yeah old technology but don't bag that old stuff too much they produced good power for their day.

These figures are only from the net but are pretty accurate.

3k single carb -44KW
3k Sprinter twin carb - 62KW
3KB EFI - 72KW

A1200 single carb - 51
A1200 GX twin carb - 62KW

Sierra 1300 - 47KW
GTI Twin Cam swift - 74KW
EFI 16V 1600 Vitara - 72KW

The issue is not so much how good the motor is, just ow hard it is to put into a Sierra compared to a G16...
