Grand Vitara front Diff Centre and other bits and pieces incl ring and pinion.

These are left over's from my GV Steel diff swap, The pinion that is in the alloy housing is a GV pinion. The diff dude started to put the GV gear back into the alloy housing when he wasn't suppose to, so it would need to be pressed out. It comes with a few other bits and pieces to make it all complete.

$150

Pinion = 10
Ring = 43

On the reciept from Suzifour wreckers it says 4.3 = 43x10 to suit '98 Grand Vitara

There appears to be very little to no wear on it. Chances are it's never been engaged into 4wd.

Here are some photo's before being removed from the steel housing.

Vacuum actuator cause GV's don't have locking hubs.

Slightly tangiential, but where did you get the diff swap done? Somewhere down in the 'gong? I'm starting to think about where to get mine done...

Nope, cv;'s constantly spin & it lock's in the diff center, that's why we put man hub's on, to stop the bugger's spinning.. :P

I'm pretty sure I have the whole centre including r&p sitting in the garage somewhere if someone needs one.

Can't see myself using it.

Here I am :)

Just seen the link Royce posted.

Obviously the housing being GV, it won't suit, but I take it the ring and pinion gears are interchangable with Jimny?

Sorry missed it till now.

Just got confirmation that the rear diffn compnents from a GV or ANY Vitara will not fit a jimny, and hence, not a Sierra. What a shame, thought I had a solution.

Maybe send him a PM to hear it from the dark horses mouth. :lol:

I'm sure he's doing the same as what I've done. Steel diff swap, GV Diff leftover's, the same as what I've pictured above.

Yup - front diff housing swap - alloy to steel. GV internals and splinters of 1.6 alloy housing will be left over!

PM replied Bugsta.
