Yes. But the mould cost is the stopping power. Not a big cost but whoever pays for the mould would need to get quite a few sales to get costs back.
I don't think there is a market there or we (company) would fit the cost for the mould. JMO

Can anyone tell me if this project has gone ahead?
I am going to pull my diff apart next week and need to either buy the part from Suzuki or get one from Tim/Bruce etc. Can someone please clarify.

I'm going to be a racist and say...I dont like black bush, I want a white one. But that said and done, considering I have to pay for bush, if black black bush is going to save me a few bucks, then black bush it is!!!
When can I get bush and what will bush cost me?

That's good to know. Full steel mould. Now Tim just has to sell quite a few to get some coin back before he can start making some coin from it.

getting back to my original thread...before all this plastic stuff took over

I'm getting a bearing holder turned up, as per cj's original pdf file, I'm also getting a passengers side shaft cut down and re-splined, allowing the use of the same drive shaft both sides.

Have been quoted $250 to anneal the shaft, cut it down and respline, and then re-harden the shaft...anyone know if that sounds about right?

Hey Mugwui, This is a different set up to the bush, it's a stub axle & bearing on the RHS to bolt in a LHS cv.

I know this is well after the fact, but I was going through some old photos and found the photos of CJ's bearing install, including the narrowed stub shaft and modified calmini drop bracket.

This setup has been VERY reliable. I't been in about 5 cars since the photos were taken!

top pics steve, they are exactly what we were after, I've sent off that pdf file of the cad drawing, which i presume is correct and they are 'supposedly' in production..however it has been a while since ive heard from the guy...might have to give him another call.

Obviously with the wide chassis models the calmini diff drop bracket bolts need recessing in to clear the new cv flange, are you just using the allen key to do them up?
