thinking about performing a 1/2 RUF as my 2" kit has been put on back order. and im getting time off to install all my goodies and would be great to get my suspension sorted too.

but jsut wanting to confirm this is correct theory.

if i get 2" rear lifted springs for the zook and move the current std hieght springs to the front and just redrill the front loop/spring mounty things i should get about a 2" lifted front end.

or is my theory shite,f and i would be needing 2" extended shackels too to get 2" lift. out std hieght rear springs.

Mate this is one of those suck it and see situations. Given that there are so many different manufacturers of springs, with their own blend of arc, length etc, there is no way to tell by sitting on a keyboard. You are just going to have to try it.

In theory, your rear springs once fitted to the front will sit ABOUT the same height as 2" lifted rears in the rear, but not until the new rears settle.

sorry its 2 and half isnt it ...

to make the rears fit in the front by re-drilling the rear front spring hanger you will have to run longer shackles. Otherwise your shackle angle will be rather scary. Combine this with some new lifted rears and you will get it very close to level.

We should get a weekend for the 3 zooks and get the suspension done! I'm good with suspension just limited with my bad neck

Do half RUF and work each zook out flex and order shocks to suit

As per the others - you will need longer shackles in the front (+1" to +2") to get a decent shackle angle with the longer spring. The RUF fronts will likely be similar height to the 2" OME rears but no way to tell until the rear springs have sagged - load the back up with heavy junk for a few weeks to help the process along. You might then be able to make small adjustments in front/rear ride height by playing with shackle length, but this is limited by maintaining an acceptable shackle angle.

I have some additional flexibility with my setup as I completely replaced both the front and rear spring hanger plates. I don't recommend it though because it means a heap of fabbing, measuring, throwing, fabbing, etc to get it right. In the end I think my rear spring bush is somewhere close to stock location anyway.

Just get in there and do it
