hey guys, looking at getting a set of steelies for my vit and just wondering which offset i should get.
I have the choice between +3 and -12 offsets and i believe the standard wheels are +25.
I am looking at running either 30's or 235/75/15's but i dont want the tyre miles outside the guard so if the +3 is possible ill get it. Ill probably end up needing flares of some description though.

they seem to be a reasonable price on there. unless anyone else knows what other options i have that are cheap. Im in south eastern melbourne so if anyone has a cheap option out my way that'd be great.

ROH no longer make Trak 2's to fit suzukis and i believe my other option (other than ebay ones) are speedy wheels which only come in a -15 offset.

I have -13 15*7 and 235 and need a 50mm flare to cover them

I also had to bash the rear of the front wheel arch so the tyre didnt get jammed in there and fit 50mm bumpstop spacers on the rear so the tyres didnt bash the guards on humps

Cool that helps heaps. I'm looking at fitting them with the ome 2in lift.

Is +3 too much positive offset for them to fit? Would probably rub on chassis and wheel well heaps.

+3 is probabaly a better bet than neg. Too far the other way (-) and as well as hanging outside the arches your tyres won't make it back through into the guards when you turn the wheels.

Also be aware that the OME kit is only 30-40mm, so inch and a half above stock. If your springs are original and sagged over time it will probably lift at least 2" from where it is now.

I reckon my suspension is pretty sagged so I reckon I'd get a 50-60mm lift from where it is now.
In terms of wheels I would think that about 0 or -5 offset would probably be ideal but i cant find any like this. Would going to a -12 or -15 offset have a negative effect on wheel bearings?
I went and priced out flares yesterday and it's $16.95/metre from Clark rubber edge.
Will probably take a bit of trial and error to find a setup I like.

I have -12 15x7 with 30's. I gave the front rear section a good go over with the hammer. i have about 40mm lift.

According to our site bearing supplier, no, not even slightly. Bearings wear out from lack of attention, they are a bit lose, get shit in them, and grind to death. Well set up, no drama.

Im definitely on his side.

If your going for new wheels, go as wide as you can fit, better stance, better stability, better look.
