Don't get me wrong, Im not looking for seats, may one day, but not on my list at the mo, seats were just what came into my head when I read this, so I tried.
now select "Tech Chat" on the left hand side under "Forums" and you get 62 matches, you need to try to cull off all the random "sierra" posts...
just tried it again with out the "and" & i still get the 62 results searching for Sierra Seats" under tech so that kind of blows my theory about the "and" linking the words out of the water... the internetz just isn't ment to be worked out!

Something else that helps searching is an informative, correctly spelled title.
I am not getting all Nazi on y'all, but it probably should be encouraged, certainly in tech. Not the whole post, just the title.

when searching its not a one hit wonder, sometimes youll have to have a few guys either being more specific with your words or less depending how you go
maybe try fit and seats or sierra and fit and seat or cheap and seat and so on
then yeah try it in one section then move to teh next
another thing ill do especially on a forum I dont know, click show results as posts not topics so it will show you the actual posts with the results, I usually skim along them all and if there is a thread coming up a lot I click it to open in a new tab and any that look like they have useful stuff in them open them to then go read them all
its not unusual to get 30 threads open and spend 45mins looking through em to find what you need, searching isnt instant info

On the seat thing I typed "replacement seats" and got 15 hits
Typed "different seats" and got 67 matches.
typed "different seats sierra" and got 34 matches
and thats in all catergories. A lot of useless stuff came up to but in the title irt gave you most of the right answers you need.
You really need to be specific in what you want and think like Joe average

I'm extremely new to this whole zook thing so I have searched anything and everything sierra on here and found pretty much everything I have needed plus some. If something comes back with 300+ results I will generally go through the first few pages of results and only open the few threads which have titles that match what I'm looking for and one will generally contain what I'm after. Seems to work for me, but then again I have plenty of spare time on my hands

OK I'll play - read a thread a while ago that mentioned the ARB part number for XL-7 bump-stop extensions that can apparently be used for a 1.6 LWB Vit.
I've searched for XL7, XL-7, bumpstop, bump-stop, bump, stop, part number, no, no., ARB...
Pretty sure it was JoeBlow that had the number (surprise surprise!) but that didn't help. Of course the guy on the phone at ARB was adamant that they didn't exist.
Can't find it for the life of me. Anyone?

ok so im looking for info on a conversion...i have a NT 1.3 and looking to go WT as well as swap my gearbox out for the WT one. i have seen bogfrogs thread on NT > WT but cant find out about the gearbox...would also like to keep the NT transfer as i dont want to have to stuff around with the handrake
have searchedin rigs and tech sections, with combos of NT, WT, gearbox, conversion, transfer etc to no avail
so i would like to know what parts i should keep if i want to put the WT diffs, WT gearbox into the 1.3 NT

As much as I hate stickies my self maybe someone could do a write up on the most common zuk problems. this for example could be on "no idle" Etc. and would incorporate the useful information from the threads from the past and, it written by someone who has dealt with the problem before, offer step by step instructions and insight as to how to go about fixing it. These instructions could then be put in a locked thread so that they don't get muddled up with comments. I think this would be a useful and succinct way of presenting information and hopefully help to eliminate some of the problems that people are running in to with the search function.

ha posting while fitting power steer is bad
I would like to make an Auszookers RTFM so like a decent Manual, not teh crap Suzuki put out
Hopefully it could cover all the usual topics that come up all the time, but would need a lot of people to spend a lot of time gathering all the info and more people to check its all ok
If enough people are serious about being involved I can set something up but it would have to be managed as a serious project not a kindergarten for window lickers
