Guys I am considering ditching my lockwrong in the rear of my zook for a welded open centre

I just cant deal with the inconsistency of it on the street anymore...the banging and clunking is driving me spare!

I can weld it myself so a factory open one will do but I will also take a welded one if someone has something kicking around

i've got one in newcastle if you can't find one closer. Freight wouldn't be too nice.

what sort of centre do I need?

does it have to be WT Leaf Spring?

Can I use a coily one?

my centre is still in a housing.. i'll bring some tools to work tomorrow and rip it out, ill weigh it for you too.

if its too heavy, i wouldn't mind ripping out the carrier and ring and pinion to save weight.

no side gears. :lol:

i have a lockright center that i want to send away to get re-shimmed but the car needs to be used every day so i cant wait the 3 weeks that re shimming will take.
