Had a search and didn't find much, so...

I'm in the process fitting the lockers from one sierra to another, the lockers were originally installed by ARB and the compressor was mounted behind the RHS headlight.
I'll prob copy this as then the wiring will be easy to hook back up, but I was playing around with other areas and thought I'd ask an see what other people had done. I've seen someone with rears only mount the compressor in the cab. Anyone else got any suggestions?

I've got mine mounted right behind the drivers seat on my crappy alloy rollbar for my front airlocker. the Airline runs through a grommet in the floor under the back of the seat. Keeps it out of the mud and crap. Works fine

Mine is mounted on the firewall, behind the glove box.
Nice and dry, clean and scares passengers.

Remember to plumb in an air-up outlet too.

Mine is mounted on the platform that the jack used to fit into.

Yeah the jack plate was the first place I looked at... but behind the headlight is tucked out of the way protected from mud and water and don't have to change the wiring! However I am thinking under glovebox could be worth the effort?

I put mine there because I have a toolbox mounted where the jack used to live, that area is full.

If I recall correctly, there's a picture in one of the ARB catalogues showing a compressor mounted upside down under the back of a truck, with a heavy coating of mud, so I'd say yes.
