Hi guys, the car is a 1992 LWB Suzuki Vitara


Has any one ever pulled apart the air con clutch? I have been doing a fair few water crossings latelly. And now the clutch on my air co is VERY noisy.

Can i pull the pulley of the vehicle and leave the compresser attached so i dont loose my gas?

And on another note, has anyone ever looked into making the zuk air co work better? By replacing the compresser with a different one?

Hell my 93 doesnt even have the Fan on the front of the Radiator like it is Supposed to ,,

My Air con is " Like Being Coughed on by a Mouse with a Head cold"

My Air con stopped getting Cold after a few deep water crossings... Has plenty of Coolant, the Compressor works.. it just doesnt get cold...

It still gets nice and cold, its just the clutch is very noisy when it is not engaged.

I think your problem is mostly with the fan, if you dont cool that radiator thing then your temperature difference is closer to atmosphere, therefore not feeling cold.

I dont need one, but i think magnet does...lol O.k. so i have found the appropriate info to fix my problem. I can post it up upon request
