my NT sierra leans slightly to the drivers side and 1 or 2 people with zooks have told me this is "suzuki lean"... my brother had one a few years ago and his didn't have this problem. i've put new leaf springs in and new bushes all round and it still didn't fix the problem. it has a 2 inch body lift...could that be an issue? it does my fucking head in and i'd like to sort it out so i'd appreciate any suggestions.

My Vit has this after the lift and I ended up fitting one spring spacer to the divers side rear.

Thats just the sierra lean. Its due to there being more weight over the driver side (battery, spare wheel, fuel tank, driver) Just put an extra leaf in the drivers side springs. Or just deal with it

My old sierra was 2" lower on the drivers side. My current zook is about 3" lower on the passenger side.... anti-suzuki lean??

have you made sure you got the front springs on the right side? i had the same problem but swaped the left to the right and it was all sorted.

I bought a 1990 sierra yesterday, and after having read this thread thismorning ran down to the garage to have a look, I'm pretty sure it has a slight lean to the right, I should put my level on it

best way to fix this is to replace one of the leaves in the drivers front pack with a slightly thicker one. It still allows for nice flex and fixes the silly annoying lean.

Thats how i fixed mine..

are the spring packs different between the sides, or would it be possible to just switch the front left pack and the front right, then rear left and rear right?

If ya going to the hassle of swapping packs about then why not do what i did and be done with it?

where did you get the thicker spring for it? and how much?

I just put an extra leaf on the drivers side in both front and rear packs and now it sits level even with my 105kg in it

different spring makers use different thickness springs in their products. I just collected a few sets of old springs and made my own set. Its the 2nd biggest leaf that is thicker and its the same length as the one on the passenger side.
