I paid $340 landed at my door when the dollar was just under $1. Shipping was the killer due to the size and weight.

I had that kit send 3 weeks ago for a job I did. Was $255US delivered ($270AU inc chargest/ exchange etc)

Was it shipped USPS flat rate box? 1 or 2 boxes? :? perhaps someone different packed mine at LROR? :?

Either way, this is a great kit and $300 isn't bad at all considering the markups that loctup put on LROR stuff

I dealt with Sean. I've bought heaps of stuff from him before and he's always been good with shipping costs. It was shipped using USPS.

Typical aussie response you do realise any business here has to put 10% GST on any goods they bring in. No wonder they say zook owners are tight arsses 8O

Hey champ.

Yeah I know all about it mate. I run a business that occassionally brings gear in from the US, so GST, Duty, and small profit margins are something I am very familiar with.

And as I have found over the years, zook owners on the whole have been filed under the "tight arse" category, when really they should be in the "well informed" & "iv done my product research" categories. Thats not to say there isn't an exception to the rule, cos there is plenty of penny pinchers out there

But any business that re-sells the products of another company is gonna have a hard time being competitive when the supply company also sell direct to the public. :?

Its a fact.

I dont think he was actually having a dig at Locktup, Bulldoggy, merely stating that put the two side by side and based on price alone Locktup are pushing shit up hill to be competitive. And Chris is aware of this as well, which is were their customer service both before and after sale comes into it.

I will let them go for $200 but only if they are picked up either today or tomorrow (before 5pm) and payment is cash in hand on pickup.
